82 of Liberal Democrats view Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) unfavorably
Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. Republicans and Democrats have diametrically opposing views of the Immigration & Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) and in the biggest contrast 65 of Democrats have a favorable" view of the IRS while 72 have an unfavorable view of ICE according to the latest Pew Research Center Survey.
Many Democrats nationwide have lined up to call for abolishing ICE though it appears to be a political statement and not one they would like to vote on in Congress.
And according to the latest national survey by the Pew Research Center conducted July 11-15 among 1007 adults the differences over the agency are particularly stark between Liberal Democrats and Conservative Republicans .

- A large majority of Liberal Democrats 82 view Immigration & Customs Enforcement unfavorably
- while 53 of Liberal Democrats view the agency very unfavorably
- 60 of Conservative Democrats feel unfavorable about ICE
- with 35 of Moderate Democrats holding a very unfavorable opinion of the Immigration & Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE)
- More men view ICE favorably (49) than unfavorably (41).
- Among women more have an unfavorable (53) than favorable (40) opinion of the agency.
In a weird realigning of political favorites Democrats have now moved to embrace the FBI CIA and even the Internal Revenue Service while condemning Immigration & Customs Enforcement according to Pew.
Even odder the party that has a history of criticizing the FBI and CIA now seem to have embraced both.
- Some 77 of Democrats have a favorable view of the FBI and
- 63 have a favorable view of the CIA.
- 72 have a favorable view of the agency enforcing President Trumps initiative to deport criminal illegals
- while less than 50 have a favorable view of the IRS and the FBI which is under fire from Trump for favoring Hillary Rodham Clinton in the 2016 elections.
