Texas journalist: Enter your best health reporting of the year in the Texas Medical Association Anson Jones MD Awards. Its free and easy to do and winners receive an award and $500 to $1000.
The awards 12 categories include a NEW online single article/blog category. Print-publication journalists like you also may enter the small- or large-circulation print category and/or the in-depth print category. The online/mixed media categories are open to Texas journalists at traditional news outlets and online-only outlets with news reports that appear online. And if you have a body of health reporting enter the Texas Health Journalist of the Year category.
Dont be shy; you can enter more than once. Any work published in 2016 is eligible. Entries are due Jan. 10 2017.
