Final Score Exxon 71 - ISS/Glass Lewis 29 Support for Moving From New Jersey to Texas

We, of course, agreed with a yes vote on Exxon’s departure from New Jersey.

Stephen Moore: Unleash Prosperity Hotline – Yesterday, ExxonMobil shareholders crushed the evil proxy voting services in a landslide 71% vote of support for moving from New Jersey to Texas.

In every way this is a financially responsible and shareholder-friendly outcome. The fact that ISS and Glass Lewis urged a vote AGAINST the move only reinforces our assessment that these proxy advisors are hopelessly woke and routinely spit out rotten advice that would make shareholders poorer.  It’s as if they work for AOC.

Our conclusion is that every bank and financial institution has a fiduciary duty to STOP paying them money.

Earlier this year, we at UP started giving a thumbs up or thumbs down rating for the banks and large financial institutions before they proxy vote on shareholder resolutions dealing with ESG and governance issues. And we do it for free. We, of course, agreed with a yes vote on Exxon’s departure from New Jersey.
