President Trump to address joint session of Congress tonight
Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON, D.C. – Following his first full month back in office, President Trump will address a Joint Session of Congress tomorrow night at 8:00 PM CT.
This administration has taken a tremendous amount of bold action in a short period of time to carry out its 'America First' vision. As a result, during the month of February, we saw record low number of illegal border crossing – less than 10,000. This is in stark contrast to the height of our border crisis – up to 300,000 illegal crossings in just one month under Biden.
Curious about which bills I have introduced this Congress?
In February, the House Armed Services Committee held its first two full committee hearings.
- "Protecting American Interests in a convergent Global Threat Environment"
- Focused on logistical challenges in the Indo-Pacific along with better ways to expand access in the region and coordinate with regional partners.
- "Strengthening America's Defense Industrial Base, Workforce, and Production Lines to Deter War"
- Focused on ways that our Defense Industrial Base can become more agile in order to enhance adaptability while saving taxpayer dollars.
On February 27th, I introduced the Rescinding Offshore Wind Tax Credit Act. This would disallow the production tax credit and investment tax credit for offshore wind facilities placed in service in the the inland navigable waters of the U.S. or the coastal waters of the U.S.
