Americans are less positive about Joe Biden's job than in the previous quarter – or for most of the past three years WASHINGTON, D.C. (Texas Insider Report) — The violence and escalation of pro-Palestinian protests on College Campuses across the U.S., unending inflation that continues to squeeze America's working-class families with higher gas prices and sticker shock at the grocery store, and the ongoing Border Crisis that many see as increasing the nation's crime rates have led Joe Biden to the lowest "Approval Rating" for any president at this point in their 1st Term, says the latest polling numbers just released by the Gallup Corporation. In the latest Gallup Poll conducted April 1st-22nd, things have gone from bad to worse for the 81-year-old Democrat – with just 38.7% of Americans "approving" of the job Biden is doing. The record low is essentially unchanged from Biden's March (40%) and February (38%) readings. And, the Gallup Analysis said, there are no signs of Mr. Biden’s "approval rating" reversing course – given that it has been in a steady decline since he took office in 2021. “None of the other nine presidents elected to their first term since Dwight Eisenhower had a lower 13th-quarter average than Biden,” said Gallup, referring to the period between Jan. 20th and April 19th. “From a broader historical perspective, Biden’s most recent quarterly average ranks 277th out of 314 Presidential Quarters in Gallup records dating to 1945. "That puts it in the bottom 12% of all presidential quarters.” The findings come as the Biden White House has struggled to adequately address even one of the major issues Americans say is their top concern. The Gallop Poll showed just 1-in-3 "Independent Voters" (33%) approve of Mr. Biden’s job performance, yet another warning sign about his reelection prospects.
