Farm and Ranch Lands Conservation Council - Governor Greg Abbott appointed Lindsey Gohlke and reappointed Romey Swanson to the Farm and Ranch Lands Conservation Council for terms set to expire on February 1, 2031. The council’s duties are to advise and assist the Texas Farm and Ranch Lands Conservation Program (TFRLCP) with administration of the program and to select applicants to receive grants.
Governor’s Task Force on the Governance of Early Childhood Education and Care - Governor Abbott named Peter J. Holt chair and appointed Jeff Austin, III, Leslie Callahan, Lori Gabbert Charney, Grant Coates, Reagan Curran, Tracy Hanson, Ed.D., Marisela Nava, John “J.” Puckett, Jennifer Stockemer, Ph.D. and Nancy Windham, to the Governor’s Task Force on the Governance of Early Childhood Education and Care for terms set to expire on September 1, 2027. The governor's task force on the governance of early childhood education and care is established to address the governance and operational challenges of the early childhood education system in this state.
Texas Interagency Council for the Homeless - Governor Greg Abbott appointed Scott Charbonneau to the Texas Interagency Council for the Homeless for a term set to expire at the pleasure of the Governor. The council coordinates state resources and services to address homelessness.
