Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Harmony Public Schools is proud to announce that all full-time returning employees will receive a one-time 4% retention bonus this week, recognizing the outstanding dedication and teamwork that continue to make Harmony one of Texas’s top-performing school systems.
Over the past school year, teachers, support staff, and administrators have worked tirelessly to help students thrive academically while ensuring that campuses remained financially strong and efficient. As a result, Harmony ended the 2024–25 school year as one of Texas’ top-performing public school systems—both academically and financially.

One-Time Retention Bonus Details
Retention bonus payments will be issued this week.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must have received a paycheck at the end of September 2025
- Must have been employed in an eligible position as of May 20, 2025
- Must remain actively employed in an eligible position as of October 17, 2025, with no pending separation
- Substitutes are not eligible
- Full-time exempt (salaried) employees: 4% of the employee’s annual 2024–25 salary (based on position held as of May 20, 2025)
- Full-time non-exempt (hourly) employees: $1,000 flat amount (increased from $575)
- Temp workers (interns, tutors, etc.): $300 flat amount (increased from $225)
