Harmony Public Schools-Central Texas Selected as Partner in Intel® AI-Ready Schools Initiative

As part of the initiative, participating schools in the district will receive Intel® powered AI PCs equipped with AI-optimized software designed to support teaching and learning while protecting student data.

Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Harmony Public Schools-Central Texas has been selected as a partner district in the Intel® AI-Ready Schools Initiative, a national effort designed to help schools prepare students and educators for success in an AI-enabled world.

Intel® officially welcomed Harmony Public Schools-Central Texas into the initiative, which supports districts in implementing responsible, ethical and student-centered artificial intelligence practices in education.

As part of the initiative, participating schools in the district will receive Intel® powered AI PCs equipped with AI-optimized software designed to support teaching and learning while protecting student data.

The district will also gain access to more than 400 hours of AI learning content, more than 200 AI and technology-infused lesson plans and structured professional learning opportunities for educators.

“We are excited to partner with Intel® as we continue expanding innovative learning opportunities for our students and teachers,” said Dr. Mustafa Altindag, area superintendent for Harmony Public Schools-Central Texas. “Artificial intelligence is shaping the future across every industry, and this initiative will help ensure our students are prepared to think critically, solve real-world problems and use emerging technologies responsibly.”

The Intel® AI-Ready Schools Initiative aims to empower 250 schools nationwide by supporting AI adoption that is responsible, safe and aligned with effective instructional practices.

The initiative also includes professional development for designated Lead Educators at each participating school. Educators will complete structured training and serve as peer coaches to support classroom implementation and collaboration across campuses.

Intel® leaders said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to preparing students for the future while strengthening creativity, reasoning and human-centered learning through technology.
