Harmony Science Charter School Academy's Ground-Breaking Scheduled Ceremony in Leander

Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Harmony Public Schools-Central Texas is thrilled to announce that it has chosen mascots for its new campuses in Leander and Georgetown.

Harmony Science Academy-Georgetown's mascot is The Huskies. Huskies are known for being team players, loyal, enthusiastic, intelligent, and explorers. As pack animals with a rich history of providing transportation for explorers, they must collaborate, show versatility, be determined, and persevere to overcome any obstacle. It is because of these attributes that we chose The Huskies. 

Harmony Science Academy-Leander will proudly be The Mustangs. Mustangs symbolize independence and freedom, representing Harmony's hands-on, individualized learning. They are also known for their strength, endurance, and determination, symbolizing our focus on setting our students up for success by ensuring they are college-ready, career-ready, and life-ready with our demanding STEM curriculum. 

Harmony plans to open both campuses for the 2025-2026 school year and begin by serving students in Grades PK-6. The district will add a new grade level each year as we enter Phase 2. In Phase 2, Harmony will build a second building at each location to expand the campus to accept students in Grades PK-12. HSA-Leander and HSA-Georgetown will make the eighth and ninth campuses for HPS-CTX. Applications begin for the 2025-2026 school year on November 1, 2024. Harmony operates on a lottery system.
