Garcia Davidson is known for her expertise in ethics election law public information issues and governmental affairs. She built her practice through working political campaigns and public service.
Garcia Davidson served as section leader for the Legislative and Campaign Law Section for the Texas State Bar Association and now serves as immediate past chair. She served as General Counsel to the Republican Party of Texas and was elected as a delegate from Texas to the 2012 Republican Party National Convention and as an alternate delegate to the 2008 National Convention.
She served as general counsel to Lieutenant Governor Rick Perry assistant general counsel for the Texas Department of Agriculture under Commissioner Rick Perry and was a legislative staffer for several members of the Texas House of Representatives. Garcia Davidson was the ethics advisor to Governor George W. Bush and served as lead counsel on several election ballot challenges and litigated several high-profile election law cases.
Garcia Davidson currently advises clients on campaign ethics open meetings and public information issues. Her client list includes many current and former members of the Texas legislature and other elected officials.
Active as a volunteer in her local community she and husband Greg Davidson along with their daughter and black lab Lucy reside in Austin.
