Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – During the early hours of the morning on June 6, 1944, more than 150,000 allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy, France during World War II. Many of them were brave American soldiers who crossed the seas to help liberate Europe from tyranny.
