Incredible Men and Women at the Johnson Space Center Who Made the Artemis II Launch and Safe Return Possible

Trump and his administration to reinstate the Protect Life Rule to block Title X funding for abortion facilities.

Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON, D.C. – Not only is Johnson Space Center the hub of U.S. human spaceflight, but it’s also home to thousands of hard-working men and women who made this Artemis II launch and safe return possible. 

Last week, I met with those incredible men and women at the Johnson Space Center and spoke with the Artemis II astronauts as they were on their journey back to Earth. These astronauts are inspiring a whole new generation of space explorers, and I could not be prouder of all they accomplished in space. We are incredibly thankful for Artemis II's safe re-entry and splashdown.

Ceasfire
President Trump has reached a ceasefire with Iran and has laid out what he expects of them: zero enrichment and to hand over the enriched uranium that they have right now. Now is the time for Iran to continue listening to President Trump's terms, otherwise the consequences will be great. 


Take It Down Act
Technology is a powerful tool, but it should never be used to spread vile or exploitative material. That’s why I am proud to have authored the Take It Down Act, which ensures that individuals who create deepfake pornographic images of others are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

This past week, the first conviction under the Take It Down Act was made. Victims in real time are now being protected from non-consensual AI-generated sexually explicit images, cyberstalking, and threats of violence. Because of our work to make it the law of the land, Big Tech can no longer turn a blind eye to the spread of this vile material. I am thrilled to see our legislation in action and proud to stand with victims of these crimes as they seek justice against their perpetrators.

Protect Life Rule
American taxpayers should not be forced to be complicit in the taking of innocent life. That’s why I am proud to stand in the fight to urge President Trump and his administration to reinstate the Protect Life Rule to block Title X funding for abortion facilities. In March 2019, President Trump’s administration proposed and finalized the Protect Life Rule that ensured Title X family planning funds could no longer flow to clinics that perform, promote, or refer for abortions, and required clear physical and financial separation between Title X-funded projects and abortion facilities. The Biden-Harris Administration rescinded the Rule, undoing this progress. 

I am proud to stand and support reinstating the Protect Life Rule. The American people elected President Trump because they trust him to protect innocent life. He has delivered on that trust, and reinstating the Rule is another step in support of this mission.
