Iranian threatens retaliation against potential U.S.-allied targets in the region
WASHINGTON, D.C. (Texas Insider Report) — "The biggest bridge in Iran comes tumbling down, never to be used again. Much more to follow," warned President Trump in a Truth Social post, after a United States airstrike took out the Middle East's largest bridge.
"It is time for Iran to make a deal before it is too late and there is nothing left of what still could become a great country," said the president in a 10-second clip of the ruins of the B1 Highway Bridge, considered an important link between Iran’s capital of Tehran and the western city of Karaj.
Iranian state TV threatened retaliation against potential U.S.-allied targets in the Middle East, saying its military had identified multiple bridges or infrastructures in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and the Jordan-West Bank region.
"A few minutes ago, the American-Zionist enemy once again targeted the B1 bridge in Karaj," an Iranian state Fars News TV broadcast said, noting that the U.S. strike killed two civilians.
The bridge strike comes after Iran had retaliated against the U.S. and Israel by hitting American bases in the region, and warned it could expand its efforts to impact U.S. facilities in other countries.
