• He was right about Star Wars. • He was right about the Evil Russian Empire. • He was right about Tear Down This Wall!" • He was right about the spread of Communism into Central & South America. • And he was right to fight it.
He was right about the threats we faced and about who we were in our relationships with enemies foreign and domestic.
And because Reagan was right the we survived for another generation.
As President Trump visited Davos Switzerland this week theres been a kind of deja vu feeling all over again. Were experiencing a rerun of an era past realizing with how America needs to deal with foreign leaders and the rest of the world.
As was true during the 1970s and 1980s many Americans feel weve lost the will to defend ourselves our culture & our people… at least until Donald Trump came along!
Yes Leftists filled the streets in America and Europe to protest Reagans rearmament of America and NATO. And before Presient Trump NATO was a shell of its former self with most European countries contributing a paltry 1 of their national budgets to their own defense.
For some reason or another after a generation or two the Europeans seemed to have lost all their will to defend their culture their freedom or their way of life. Its really quite mind-boggling. One only needs to look what Angela Merkels Germany is going through barely being able to cobble together a government!.
Donald Trump recognized this… and hes shown a leadership thats shamed Europe into taking their own security seriously. As a result European defense budgets have quickly started to rise even though they are nowhere near where they should be.
Perhaps the most interesting part of the this Trump phenomenon is how The Left in America continues to act as though Russia is the enemy. Is this because Russia is no longer Communist? Is it because the Russians are Christian? Is it because they are mostly white?
What we do know is that The Left especially in America is corrupt. The recent revelations about the FBI show this in black and white. Theyre losing emails of their own when weve been depending on them to find the emails of others namely Hillary Clintons.
Obviously the Russians did try to interfere in our elections and after President Obama did nothing more than roll over who can blame them for trying to disrupt our way of life or to undermine our democratic system?
But the Russia-Russia-Russian hysteria has got to stop at some point… now that we know Hillary Rodham Clinton did actually collude with the FBI to make it all happen with the Russian Dossier" and everything.
Cant we realize that the Russia-phobia in the press is manufactured to help the Democrats the leftists the Obama bitter-enders and their Sock-Puppet Media friends who literally came within a breath of selling out American just to regain power for liberalism?
It has nothing to do with President Vladimir Putin the Kremlin or any real Russian threat. Its simply about control... Democrat Party and their leaders control as the recent government shut-down made clear. Its about them holding onto power. Nothing more.
Reagan saved America. He saved the West and he saved our nations future. The media criticized President Reagan for doing so just they are seeking to delegitimatize President Trumps efforts.
Perhaps its time the American public realized President Trump is cut from the same cloth as Reagan. They probably already do.
