"Our Texas State Veterans Homes and Cemeteries are essential parts of these benefits."
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Land Commissioner and Veterans Land Board (VLB) Chairwoman Dawn Buckingham, M.D., was proud to share that the VLB's new online donations portal is now live on the Texas General Land Office's (GLO) website. Previously, donations to VLB's Texas State Veterans Homes (TSVH) and Texas State Veterans Cemeteries (TSVC) could only be made by physical check. Now, the online portal allows donations via a simple online form.
"There is no greater act of service than fighting for your country, and as VLB Chairwoman, it is an honor to provide the best benefits package in the nation to our Veterans and Military Members. Our Texas State Veterans Homes and Cemeteries are essential parts of these benefits," said Commissioner Buckingham.
"The donations the VLB receives from Texans committed to giving back to those who have given so much help us care for Texas Veterans in our state-of-the-art Veterans homes and lay them to rest with dignity at our pristine Veterans cemeteries. Now, these donations are as quick and easy as making any other purchase online, but so much more meaningful. I thank every Texan who donates to this worthy cause."

Texas State Veterans Cemeteries are built through a partnership between the state of Texas and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and are managed by the Texas Veterans Land Board. Veterans, spouses, and eligible family members are never charged for burial or setting headstones.
