Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Land Commissioner and Veterans Land Board (VLB) Chairwoman Dawn Buckingham, M.D., is delighted to recognize and praise all of the amazing women who have proudly served our country on Women Veterans Recognition Day, a day to acknowledge and commemorate the signing of the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act, allowing women the right to serve as regular members of the military.

The gathering at the Amarillo Civic Center is open to all Veterans, military members and their families, to connect our country's Veterans with vital resources.
