Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick issued the following statement today applauding Gov. Abbott's announcement that Texas is entering Phase 3 of reopening the economy:

"Governor Abbott’s announcement today that Texas is moving to Phase 3 is great news for every Texas worker and every Texas business. Friday night football will be back at 50 percent capacity along with fans being able to attend MLB, NFL and NBA games as well as concerts and live theatre.

"Just in time for summer, amusement parks will begin to open at 50 percent capacity on June 19, and on June 12, restaurants can expand to 75 percent capacity. Texans have done the right thing in following health protocols to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, and we are now ready to take the next big step in reopening our state’s economy.”
