They expect us to pass legislation to reduce crime on our streets, keep criminals behind bars with strong bail reform, protect our children, enact school choice, put prayer and the 10 Commandments back in our schools, pay our teachers like the professionals they are, stop illegal immigrants from voting, address the healthcare of Texans, address our water and power needs, create new jobs, continue our strong business climate, and so many other important issues.

“As the Senate advances into April, we have already passed an amazing 29 of the voters’, the Senate’s, and my top 40 priority bills over to the House. My goal is to pass most, if not all, of the 40 Senate priority bills and other major bills by April 15, as I have done every session since I have been Lt. Governor. I do not let the clock kill important, must-pass bills.
