Lt. Gov. Patrick Appointments: Senate Redistricting, Education and Higher Education Committee

Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick announced the following appointments to three Senate committees today:

Sen. Pat Fallon, R-Prosper, to the Senate Redistricting Committee
Sen. Judith Zaffirini, D-Laredo, to the Senate Education and Senate Higher Education Committees

“I am proud to appoint Sens. Fallon and Zaffirini to these committees. I am confident they will bring the perspectives of their districts as well as diligence and insight to these important committees.”

Sens. Fallon and Zaffirini are replacing former Sen. Kirk Watson, D-Austin, on these committees, following his resignation announcement from the Texas Senate.
