 During his time as lieutenant governor Dan Patrick has proven to be a champion for taxpayers and delivered on the promises he made to Texans. Hes fought to reduce the states skyrocketing property taxes and shrink the state business tax. Hes advanced a conservative agenda to limit government and he reformed the Senates rules to help pass conservative legislation that strengthens the state spending limit ends the automatic collection of labor union dues and eliminates sanctuary cities.
