Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON, D.C. – Last week, liberals in Congress and the Biden Administration have shown that – despite having full control of Washington – they are incapable of governing and remain unwilling to accept responsibility for the crises they have created.
Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer once again asked Republicans for help passing legislation to fund our government through next year, yet they refused to compromise or put Americans first.
The spending bill just passed by the House of Representatives prioritized everyone but the American people.
I proudly voted against it. I could not support a bill that includes billions of dollars for illegal immigrants and unconstitutional vaccine mandates but fails to adequately secure our southern border.It is time for liberals in Washington to address the problems they have created.
A NEW COVID VARIANT FOR THE HOLIDAYS
The news this week of the emergence of a new COVID variant in South Africa has given liberals the ammo they need to push for more COVID restrictions. Despite no clear evidence this variant is more deadly or more severe, Dr. Fauci and President Biden wasted no time implementing new travel restrictions for U.S. citizens and encouraging state and local leaders to push unconstitutional vaccine and mask mandates.
Americans should be more concerned about government overreach than the “Omicron” variant.
SECRETARY YELLEN LIES TO CONGRESS
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen sat before the House Financial Services Committee Wednesday and continued to push the lie that President Biden’s “Build Back Better” agenda costs taxpayers nothing. Her remarks come after the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office confirmed this legislation will increase the United States’ annual deficit by billions of dollars per year and raise taxes on middle class families.
The Administration refuses to acknowledge their reckless spending is driving the worst inflation crisis in 30 years.
