Texas Expansion Continues with 8th Fulfillment Center

Amazon.com Inc. has announced plans to open its 8th Texas fulfillment center in Coppell. Amazon employees at the one-million-square-foot Coppell fulfillment center will pick pack and ship larger customer items such as big screen TVs kayaks and patio furniture.
Amazon currently employs more than 10000 full-time hourly associates at its five current Texas fulfillment centers and plans to create 100s more full-time positions at this second Coppell location.
Elsewhere in the Lone Star State Amazon currently fulfills customer orders in Coppell Haslet Dallas Ft. Worth & Schertz Texas with upcoming facilities in San Marcos & Houston currently under construction.

The city is thrilled that Amazon has decided to build a second fulfillment center in Coppell. Adding hundreds of new full-time jobs to the more than 1000 they already provide is a demonstration of their commitment to the city said
