NFIB-Texas Names Annie Spilman as New State Director

Largest business organization in Texas focuses on issues of Tax Reform & Regulatory Relief Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas The National Federation of Independent Business the nations leading small-business association has been promoted Annie Spilman to the position of State Director for Texas.

Annie brings a wealth of knowledge experience and passion for small business" said Gary Selvy NFIB Executive Director for State Government Relations.

Those are valuable skills that will help the voices of our small-business members be heard here in Austin."

width=217 Spilman previously served as NFIB-Texas State Legislative Director where she represented the largest business organization in Texas in the State Capitol on important issues such as tax reform and regulatory relief. As state director Spilman will be NFIBs primary legislative advocate where she will guide and direct member engagement and political involvement throughout the state. A new state legislative director will be named later. A graduate of Southwest Texas State University Spilman joined NFIB in 2014 after working as governmental affairs manager for the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas. Prior to that Spilman was chief clerk for the Texas House Human Services Committee and was a legislative aide to several House members.
