Big Bend Boundary Adjustment Act Advances Through Committee
Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON, D.C. — I am proud to have delivered a $750,000 investment to Concho County Hospital, Ballinger Memorial Hospital, and North Runnels Hospital through the Rural Health Transformation Program, a $50 billion national initiative to strengthen rural healthcare.
For families in Concho County and the surrounding area, this funding is a lifeline. It means care closer to home, so they don’t have to drive over an hour to the nearest city when they or a loved one need medical attention. For seniors, young families, and anyone facing an emergency, that kind of access can make all the difference. Read more about this investment for the Concho County Hospital

Third Anniversary of October 7th
Three years ago, Hamas terrorists carried out a savage, unprovoked attack on the Israeli people, murdering men, women, and children in their homes and dragging hostages into Gaza as crowds cheered. We must never allow that evil to be forgotten, and antisemitism must be called out and confronted in all forms.
Israel has the right to defend itself and its people, and I'm grateful for President Trump's strong leadership in pressing for the successful return of all the hostages and a path to lasting peace. I will never stop working to ensure that our world does not experience another October 7th attack.
ICYMI: Big Bend Boundary Adjustment Act Advances Through Committee
Last month, my legislation to allow approximately 6,100 acres of land to be donated or exchanged for inclusion in Big Bend National Park took an important step forward in the House Committee on Natural Resources. The Big Bend Boundary Adjustment Act represents years of work by Texas landowners, the Big Bend Conservancy, private partners, local stakeholders, and the State of Texas.
This bill will help protect more of West Texas’ iconic landscape, preserve the natural beauty of the Big Bend region, and strengthen conservation efforts for generations to come. Read more about the Big Bend Boundary Adjustment Act
