Mystic Alerts Act Signed Into Law by President Trump
Millions of Americans rely on programs like SNAP to put food on the table. When fraudsters steal those dollars to fund lavish lifestyles, they are stealing from families in need and from the taxpayers who fund the program.
I want to thank Vice President JD Vance and the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud for cracking down on more than $40 million in SNAP fraud, with charges expected against dozens of defendants, including a rapper who set cash on fire. If you steal from those in need, we will find you and hold you accountable. Read more by clicking

Mystic Alerts Act Signed Into Law by President Trump
I am grateful that President Trump signed my bipartisan, bicameral Mystic Alerts Act into law this week. This legislation becoming law is especially meaningful not only for my family, but for Texans across our state.
After the devastating July 4th floods, it was clear that families in rural communities can’t be left in the dark when cell networks go down. By adding satellite technology to our emergency alert system, we’re ensuring warnings reach people when they need them most.
I’m thankful to Senator John Cornyn for championing the Mystic Alerts Act in the Senate and to Senator Ted Cruz for his work to swiftly move this through the Senate Committee on Commerce. This law is a major step forward for emergency preparedness, and it means more Americans will get the warnings they need, no matter where they live. Delivering Results and Bringing Money Back to Texas-11
When I was sent to Washington by the constituents of Texas-11, I promised to deliver results and stand up for Texas values. I'm proud to report that thirteen of my bills have passed the U.S. House of Representatives so far in the 119th Congress, and four have been signed into law.
From lowering prescription drug prices to securing the southern border, I've remained committed to advancing legislation that puts more money in the pockets of Texans and keeps our state strong, free, and prosperous.
My team and I have also returned $20.8 million to constituents that was owed by federal agencies like the IRS, VA, and more. It will always be an honor to represent Texas-11. If you need assistance with a federal agency or would like to contact my office about a certain topic, please visit
