WASHINGTON, D.C. (Texas Insider Report) — If you’re looking for another reason why President Trump moved so quickly to end a 47 year war by Iran against the United States and its allies, listen to what Steve Witkoff – America’s Special Envoy to the Middle East – said to Sean Hannity last night:
“I know this: they have roughly 10,000 kilograms of fissionable material. That’s broken up into roughly 460 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium, and another 1,000 kilograms of 20% enriched uranium,” Witkoff said.
“The 60% materials, Sean, can be brought to 90% – that’s weapon grade, weapons grade – in roughly one week, maybe 10 days at the outside.
“In that first meeting, both the Iranian negotiators said to us directly – with, you know, no shame – that they controlled 460 kilograms of 60%, and they’re aware that that could make 11 nuclear bombs, and that was the beginning of their negotiating stance. They were proud of it," said Witcoff.
He added, "the 20% can be brought to weapons grade inside of three to four weeks.”

In other words, Iran was within one week to ten days of developing a nuclear bomb – and they were bragging about it to President Trimp's U.S negotiator team, Mr. Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
If that doesn’t curdle your blood, then probably nothing will.
And you have leading Democrats saying – even after having been briefed – that there is no imminent threat to the United States.

When will they open their eyes? When will they get honest? And, when will they recognize that what Mr. Trump is doing is changing history?
Getting rid of the current Iranian mullahs’ regime is akin to the Berlin Wall coming down, to defeating fascism in World War II, or to President Trump’s crushing ISIS during his first term.
Trump is changing the international balance of power in ways that will benefit America, Israel, and defend democracies from our enemies for a 100 years or more.Why not just get behind him and let him do what presidents over the past several decades have refused to take on – and let him get the job done?
You have, of course, the phony arguments from so-called leading Democrats that Mr. Trump is violating the War Powers Act. Well that idea was passed in the 1970s by a left-wing Congress, and since then, basically every president – Democrat or Republican – has ignored it.
But you know what? Mr. Trump has kept Operation Epic Fury in compliance with the War Powers Act, not that anyone seems to care.
He notified Congress's "Gang of 8" when Secreary of State Marco Rubio briefed them prior to the operation actually starting, and yesterday the White House sent an official notification to Congress about the American strike against Iran.
Mr. Trump said he was “providing this report as part of my efforts to keep the Congress fully informed, consistent with the War Powers Resolution.” That resolution, by the way, provides any president as Commander-In-Chief with 60 days before being required to come to Congress for some kind of up or down vote. And then there’s another 30 days for disengagement if necessary.
But this is not a technical problem, as the left and various legal experts assert. This is a battle for freedom and liberty between good and evil – between civilized and uncivilized nations.
Mr. Trump’s brave, courageous, historical actions on behalf of freedom and Western Civilization could very well be remembered in a way similar to that of President Ronald Reagan and British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher for their historical roles in ending the Cold War with the Soviet Union.The world would be a much different place today without them.
President Trump and his administration were presented with ironclad intelligence showing that Iran was preparing to launch missile attacks on both U.S. Military and civilian targets across the Middle East – and possibly beyond.
The president had first-hand evidence indicating Iran's direction, and concluded that if the United States sat back and waited to be hit first, the amount of casualties and damage would be substantially higher than if we were to act in a preemptive, defensive way to prevent those launches from occurring.
