Railroad Commission of Texas Presents 2016 Year in Review

Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas   The Railroad Commission of Texas today released the agencys 2016 Year in Review highlighting many of the regulatory agencys accomplishments during the past year. The Year in Review reflects significant milestones exciting changes and a continuing commitment to protecting public safety and our natural resources while maintaining a fair and stable regulatory environment. During 2016 the Commission celebrated its 125^th anniversary welcomed new leadership implemented technology advancements enhanced regulations and improved communication across all agency divisions. The Commission regulates oil and gas exploration and production pipeline safety surface mining natural gas utilities and alternative fuels.
