Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Registration is now open for the 
third annual Central Texas Math Carousel, a free math challenge for fifth-grade students across the Austin metroplex hosted by 
Harmony Public Schools–Central Texas.
The event will take place 
Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, from 
8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at 
Harmony School of Endeavor–Austin, located at 
13415 Ranch Road 620 N, Austin, TX 78717.
The Math Carousel features both individual and team rounds designed to encourage problem-solving, teamwork, and a love of learning. Schools may register one team of four fifth-grade students. Each team must have a teacher or sponsor, and individual competitors must have a designated adult present.
Registration is free through 
Jan. 16, 2026, or until 20 team spots are filled. There is an unlimited number of individual competitor spaces available. The event will include engaging math challenges, STEM demonstrations, and prizes for top finishers, including two honorable mentions.
