Rep. Cuellar Issues Statement on Las Vegas Shooting

Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. Congressman Henry Cuellar (TX-28) has issued the following statement after news of the horrific mass shooting near the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas that has killed at least 50 people and injured more than 200:

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and families of those affected by the cowardly mass shooting in Las Vegas last night. The people attending the concert near Mandalay Bay were there enjoying their lives as all of us should without fear or needless violence. I also want to thank our heroic law enforcement and first responders who quickly and bravely responded to this threat. The whole entire nation is behind you the victims and the family members of those  the deceased and injured this afternoon. As Americans we remain committed to helping one another through this difficult time period and we all remember that what unites us is always stronger than what divides us."
