WASHINGTON, D.C. (Texas Insider Report) — Democrat Congressman Henry Cuellar from South Texas' 28th Congressional Distric signed onto a bipartisan letter urging President Joe Biden to support Israel – and thwart Hamas terror.
The letter expresses a commitment by lawmakers to provide continued security assistance for critical technologies, including the Iron Dome, to preserve Israel’s safety, while urging the Administration to place more pressure on countries that have supported Hamas.
“Israel has no greater ally than the United States. In the wake of Hamas’ deadly terrorist attacks, we must reaffirm our support for Israel. I joined my colleagues in the House in asking President Biden to continue to support Israel and thwart Hamas terror,” said Cuellar.
“Thank you to my colleagues, Representatives Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ-5), Don Bacon (R-NE-2), Jared Moskowitz (D-FL-23), and Claudia Tenney (R-NY-24), for your bipartisanship and leadership in submitting this letter.
"The United States will continue to help and support Israel’s security and right to defend itself from terrorist aggressions. I stand with Israel,” Cuellar said.
