Rep. Williams: USMCA Enters Into Force July 1

"The USMCA is a victory for Texan farmers, manufacturers and businesses – and it will continue supporting nearly 1 million jobs in our home state that depend on trade with Canada and Mexico."

Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Roger Williams (R-TX-25) today released the following statement as the United States Mexico Canada Agreement officially went into effect:

“I am very proud to have partnered with President Trump to pass this once-in-a-generation historic agreement that revitalizes our trade and puts America first. The USMCA is a victory for Texan farmers, manufacturers and businesses in the 25th District – and it will continue supporting nearly 1 million jobs in our home state that depend on trade with Canada and Mexico. I was a strong proponent of the agreement from day one, and I will remain committed to fighting for policies that strengthen our Texas economy.”
