Ronna Romney McDaniel to Serve as Republican National Committee Chair in 2017

Voting by RNC MembersĀ considered formality Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. Ronna Romney McDaniels ability to drive support for our mission of electing Republicans up and down the ballot gives me full confidence that she will be able to continue building on the RNCs success and organizational strength as we head into important elections in 2017 and 2018 outgoing RNC Chairman Reince Priebus whom Trump appointed to serve as his White House Chief of Staff said Wednesday. Ronna has been a committed leader in our Party for years and her leadership this cycle in helping President-elect Trump turn Michigan red for the first time since 1988 makes her an exceptional choice to serve as Deputy Chair Priebus (at right) said. President-elect Trump selected McDaniel to serve as Republican National Committee chair in 2017 the RNC confirmed Wednesday. The voting members of the RNC must approve McDaniel and Paduchik but the action is considered a formality. McDaniel is chairman of the state party in Michigan and threw in her support with Trump at a time when many establishment Republicans were slow to get on board. McDaniel will initially serve as deputy chair before assuming the top post next year. Bob Paduchik director of the Trump campaign in Ohio was chosen to serve as an RNC deputy co-chairman. Bob Paduchik is the right choice to serve as RNC Deputy Co-Chair Trump said in a statement. In addition to being a key leader in helping us win big in Ohio I am confident he is going to work very hard to continue the excellent work the RNC has done of building the Republican Party up to a record level of strength.
