“Like any country, let alone any ally, Israel has a right to choose its own government and its top priority should be defending its citizens."
“In the last 24 hours, Joe Biden and Biden White House Officials have given Iran a $10 billion sanctions waiver, have sanctioned Israeli Jews, and said that Israel’s top priority should be aiding Gazans.
"Now Democrat Leader Schumer is calling for the overthrow of Israel’s government – while Israel is fighting potentially existential wars – doing unbelievable damage to Israel’s security and the U.S.-Israel relationship," said Sen. Cruz.
"I am proud to call Benjamin Netanyahu a friend, but that is irrelevant to just how staggeringly deranged and damaging all of this Democrat behavior is," said the Texas Senator.

President Joe Biden, while meeting in the White House's Oval Office with the Prime Minister of Ireland, called Schumer's comments "a good speech."
Republican members in both the U.S. House and Senate have condemed Mr. Biden's comments, saying that while the United State's ally Israel is fighting for survival following the genocidal terrorist attacks of Hamas, Democrat leaders including Mr. Biden & Mr. Schumer are out of line for meddling in a foreign country's politics by calling for the replacement of their leader.
Said House Speaker Mike Johnson:
"It is highly inappropriate, and simply wrong for Senator Schumer to be calling for new elections in Israel.
"We need to stand strong with Israel, but the White House and Senate Democrats are seemingly standing with – and supporting – Iran and its proxies instead."
