Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. On the heels of the Blue Wave" of 2018 the new Democratic majority in the U.S. House has quickly established itself as a party of leftist extremism like never before.
Their
cheap political pandering is easily unveiled by a quick analysis of the actual
impact of their brazen policy proposals and stances.
Here are some of their worst ones yet:
- Green New Deal This plan comes with a whopping $93 trillion price tag or $600000 if you divide it up by household but includes no clear way to pay for it. While it aims to achieve net-zero" emissions in 10 years closing all nuclear plants is projected to increase greenhouse gas emissions by forcing utilities to make up for the power shortfall that would result.
- Medicare-for-All Even after factoring in the sweeping tax hikes proposed to pay for this plan it would cost more than $30 trillion to provide universal Medicare. This plan would deplete healthcare choices by transitioning to a single-payer system in about two years even more ambitious than Bernie Sanders 2017 proposal.
- Infanticide After the passage of state legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mothers womb just moments from birth Democrats have repeatedly blocked votes on life-saving legislation to bar infanticide in both the House and Senate. By refusing to protect babies born alive in attempted abortions theyve effectively taken a horrific stance in defense of infanticide.
- Overzealous Gun Control This week House Democrats passed sweeping legislation under the guise of gun control" that would make it harder for law-abiding citizens to exercise their Second Amendment rights. Under the false premise that criminals will comply with the law and get a background check their bill does almost nothing to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous criminals. On top of this it is unenforceable without the creation of a national gun registry which is currently illegal and rightfully so.
I certainly dont want to live in an America with policies like these. Thats why Im committed to standing strong with my Republican colleagues and President Trump to ensure we keep our country moving in the right direction.
We must continue sounding the alarm on the Democrats hypocrisy so we can stay on track to leave behind a better America for our children and grandchildren.
