AUSTIN, Texas (Texas Insider Report) — In this article I'd like to continue to provide useful links concerning the CoronaVirus COVID-19. To be prepared, our office has been in constant contact with Local, State, and Federal Officials.
I would like to remind all Texans that we must work together to combat the virus. I will continue to encourage everyone to take these precautionary steps to prevent the spread of the virus. These actions include:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using regular household cleaning spray or wipe
