State Rep. Jim Murphy Files for Re-Election

Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas (HOUSTON) Jim Murphy Texas State Representative District 133 has filed for re-election and a place on the March Republican Primary ballot. Murphy is currently in his fifth term.

Its a privilege to serve the people of District 133 at the Capitol and I look forward to continuing to represent our community" Murphy said. This year has been especially difficult for our area after being hit by Hurricane Harvey. I am committed to issues that will help address our long-term infrastructure needs related to flooding and storm surge protection in the 86^th Legislative Session.

The constituents of the district are well versed on important issues and hold their Representative to a high standard.
