March saw the lowest Border Patrol encounters in decades, just over 7,000 total.
Texas Insider Report WASHINGTON, D.C.–Last week was a busy week in Washington! We celebrated our law enforcement heroes during National Police Week, advanced conservative priorities in committee markups, and met with many East Texans and Trump Administration officials to keep pushing for real solutions to get America back on track. I also joined FOX News to weigh in on the reconciliation process and the troubling Supreme Court decision blocking President Trump from deporting dangerous illegal alien criminals.
Thank God for Tom Homan
There’s no one tougher or more trusted on border security than my friend Tom Homan. He’s been on the front lines for over 40 years, and he knows the truth: President Trump’s leadership is working.
In fact, March saw the lowest Border Patrol encounters in decades, just over 7,000 total. That’s a stunning turnaround from the over 11,000 a day we saw under Biden.
Tom’s message is clear: when Border Patrol agents are empowered to do their jobs, America is safer. Thank God for Tom Homan and the patriots of the Border Patrol who are helping make our country secure again.
Honoring Law Enforcement
Last week, I was honored to celebrate National Police Week and recognize the brave men and women in law enforcement who put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. We owe them a profound debt of gratitude for their courage and sacrifice.
To show my support, I proudly voted for several bills aimed at strengthening protections for our law enforcement officers and sending a clear message: we have your back. I will always honor and stand with those who wear the badge and defend our communities.
