AUSTIN, Texas (Texas Insider Report) — It was Climate Day at the White House on Wednesday, with another deluge of Executive Dictates.
President Biden's Energy Secretary nominee, Jennifer Granholm, when pressed on Biden's crackdown on the nation's Energy and Oil & Gas Industries, actually admitted that "some" U.S. jobs "may be" "sacrificed" in the administration's climate push – and she even expressed optimism that the "gains" would ultimately outweigh "the losses."
“I think the president’s plan of building back better … would create more jobs in energy, clean energy, than the jobs that might be sacrificed,” Granholm said.
If you didn't see it with your own two eyes, or hear it with your own ears, you wouldn't believe this kind of talk!
- And then Climate Czar John Kerry got in front of the microphone to say that the Paris Climate Agreement isn't enough by itself.
- Also, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki refused to take the opportunity when asked to condemn Antifa as "domestic terrorists," unlike the Capitol rioters.
- New York's Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo has some words on "incompetent government."
- And last, the City of Austin is buying its 3rd hotel for homeless housing, with a 4th planned to be purched, possibly next week. Should the city get into Airbnb, or VRBO? Can you say... "Priceline, dot com!"?
