Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. This week I had the opportunity to welcome Secretary of the Army Mark Esper to the 4th District of Texas for a visit to the Red River Army Depot in Texarkana.
The Depot has played a critical role in supporting our nations Warfighters for more than 75 years and I am proud to represent thousands of dedicated men and women whose skills and expertise will ensure this continues.
I was very grateful to see Secretary Espers direct involvement at the Depot as he toured the state-of-the-art facilities and met with the folks whove dedicated their careers to supplying and maintaining the vital military equipment our servicemembers need to defend our country.
As always I am committed to continuously engaging with Depot leadership local officials and community leaders to help ensure that a steady workflow is maintained. I look forward to the ongoing involvement well have with top Army officials as the Depot carries on its vital mission.
