TAB Launches New “Texas Business Minute” Available to All Texas Media Outlets


The segments will be a brief, timely, business-focused segments can be incorporated into each outlet’s respective daily programming.

Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas On Monday, July 14, the Texas Association of Business (TAB) will launch the “Texas Business Minute” – a daily 55-second, non-partisan news segment available to all Texas media outlets. Available in both audio and video formats, this ready-to-air clip will be delivered free of charge to local Radio and TV outlets across the state.

“TAB is excited to provide Texas outlets with high-quality, ready-made content that keeps Texans informed about the latest business news driving our state’s economy,” said TAB President & CEO Glenn Hamer.

The segments will be a brief, timely, business-focused segments can be incorporated into each outlet’s respective daily programming.

TAB is the Texas State Chamber of Commerce, representing companies of every size and industry. The Association’s purpose is to champion the best business climate in the world, unleashing the power of free enterprise to enhance lives for generations.
 
The daily news clip will feature TAB’s President & CEO, Glenn Hamer, or another member of TAB’s leadership, and will cover topics such as:
 
  • Job creation figures
  • GDP growth
  • Corporate relocations and expansions
  • New business formations
  • Key economic development updates
  • Federal tariff impacts
  • Texas trade and export data
“The Texas Business Minute is another way we’re ensuring that our media partners – and the communities they serve – stay connected to the economic pulse of the Lone Star State,” said Hamer.

The clips will be made available at no cost to all TV and radio stations across Texas on a daily basis and will be sent to inboxes at 5:00 AM CST during the week. It will not be available on the weekends, federal holidays and the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas.
 
There will be no market exclusivity, and any outlet that wishes to use it may do so freely.

The Texas Business Minute is not sponsored, nor will it generate any revenue for the Association. However, individual stations and outlets may secure local sponsorships at their discretion.
