"Incredibly, there were lines during the entire job fair for so many businesses and organizations."

Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – This week our office hosted the 2024 North Texas Job Fair at Globe Life Field in Arlington.
I wanted to share some of the highlights with you all!
In our constituent services section, we had an entire area dedicated solely to veteran resources. I'm so grateful for the relationships we’ve formed with our service organizations so we can work together to help our heroes.
Wounded Warrior Project signed up 10 new warriors yesterday and I enjoyed swapping challenge coins with Gus from Combined Arms! We had
Veterans in Business, VA North Texas Health Care System,
Texas Veterans Commission, the
Texas Veterans Land Board, Texas Veterans Leadership Program, and so many more offering resources to our nation's heroes.
We also gave away over 3,000 backpacks loaded with school supplies for North Texas families! As the new school year approaches, our office wanted to help North Texas families by easing the burden of high inflation and I'm so happy we were able to do so.
Globe Life Field was packed with over 25,000 job seekers showing up to find new or better careers! From 11am - 3pm we were so honored to help serve tens of thousands of North Texans. We truly appreciated the feedback from businesses who received hundreds of new candidates to employees who found the opportunity they were looking for!
The Main and Upper Concourses of Globe Life Field were filled with businesses, from Mom & Pop retailers to Fortune 500 companies. We had to make room for even more who showed up on the spot wanting to hire. Incredibly, there were lines during the entire job fair for so many businesses and organizations.
Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to make the 2024 North Texas Job Fair our most successful yet!
