Each of our states farmers and ranchers face unique challenges and opportunities and I am committed to doing everything possible to keep the federal government out of the way and ensure that each of Texas distinct agriculture industries are able to expand and prosper.
Farm Bureau State Director Neil F. Walter at the Rodney Schmaireide Farm welcomed him to the event at the Rodney Schmaireide Farm. Sen. Cruz helped ensure the tax reform package provided major relief from the death tax so that also included important deductions and credits farmers rely on in their operations" Director Walter said. Also Sen. Cruz work to reduce regulations that are harmful to agricultural producers and to cut regulatory red tape. All we need is good common sense regulations -- and not to be viewed as opposition by our federal government."
Walter continued Hes helped us build international trade opportunities expanded market opportunities overseas as well. Hes also helps pass the bipartisan budget act which provided much needed relief for our nations cotton farmers by making cotton that was before Title I crop insurance programs. In short we support and have endorsed Senator Cruz because he supports Texas agriculture.
