U.S. Border Patrol confirms: Vital wall sections are being taken down, sold "for pennies on the dollar."
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – "The Biden Administration's latest attempt to block Texas' – and President-Elect Donald Trump's – efforts to secure the southern border is downright shameful, and demonstrates a continued pattern of disregard for the safety of Texas and American families in favor of increasingly disastrous open border policies," said Commissioner Dawn Buckingham earlier today, announcing that the Texas General Land Office (GLO), the State of Texas, and the State of Missouri are asking a U.S. District Court Judge to investigate the Biden White House’s decision to sell border wall material, stating that the Biden White House may be in violation of the judge's May 29th, 2024 Final Judgment and Permanent Injunction.
The injunction states that the Biden Administration cannot divert appropriated border wall money to other border-related projects.
"I made a promise to use every tool at my disposal from the GLO to secure our border and protect Texans. That is why I have offered state leaders and President-Elect Donald Trump the opportunity to store any wall panels his incoming administration may acquire on state land," said Buckingham, adding,"I will never give up the fight to secure our porous southern border – and protect our sons and daughters from violent, criminal illegal immigrants."
A U.S. Border Patrol agent on the ground at the border confirmed that up to half a mile per day of vital wall sections are being taken down and sold "for pennies on the dollar."
These actions appear to be in direct opposition to what Americans clearly stated they wanted during the November election — a secure border.
This week, President-Elect Donald Trump stepped up and asked the Biden Administration to stop their apparent sabotage of future border security and Commissioner Buckingham is proud to stand alongside him, offering state land to store any wall panels his incoming administration may acquire.
Recently, Commissioner Buckingham celebrated the commencement of border wall construction on the General Land Office’s (GLO) newly-acquired 1,402-acre ranch along the Rio Grande at Starr County's border with Mexico.
She additionally announced the creation of “The Jocelyn Initiative,” named in honor of Jocelyn Nungaray, a 12 year old Houston girl who was killed by illegal criminals.

This initiative extends the Commissioner's initial offer to the incoming Trump Administration of 1,402 acres of state land to include state-owned land the GLO has identified in El Paso and elsewhere in Texas for the critical task of deporting violent, criminal illegal immigrants from our country.
