Come along with Commissioner Buckingham and the GLO to see how Texas's strengths can be harnessed to secure prosperity for future generations.
We are going to power it. Texas is the energy capital of America. From oil, natural gas, geothermal, and nuclear, we will continue supporting dependable and dispatchable energy that keeps families, businesses, and our economy moving.
We are going to produce it. From critical minerals to produced water, Texas has resources that can strengthen our economy, reduce our dependence on foreign countries, and help secure America’s future.
We are going to build it. Texas has the energy, resources, workforce, and infrastructure to lead the next generation of American manufacturing and create good jobs for Texans.
We are going to grow it. Our farmers and ranchers feed Texas and America. We need to protect our working lands, conserve our water, and make sure the next generation has the opportunity to carry that legacy forward.
We are going to protect it. Our land, our water, our coastline, and our natural resources are too important to take for granted. We have to develop them responsibly, while protecting them for the Texans who come after us.
That's The Texas Engine.
