Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Governor's Commission for Women is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Texas Women's Hall of Fame. The Texas Women's Hall of Fame recognizes women who have attained significant achievements in areas such as the arts, community service, education, leadership, health, science, and business. Inductees include former First Ladies, astronauts, entrepreneurs, public servants, Olympic athletes, and other women of significant accomplishment.
Eligibility Criteria:- Nominees must be native or current residents of Texas.
- Both living and deceased individuals are eligible.
- Former nominees can be re-nominated.
To nominate a woman, please complete the online nomination form linked below.
The form requires:
- Nominee's personal and contact information.
- A narrative statement (up to two double-spaced pages) detailing the nominee's background, accomplishments, and how her achievements have benefited the state of Texas.
- Optional supporting materials, such as a photo, curriculum vitae, or a list of awards and honors.
All nominations must be submitted by Friday, May 2, 2025.
