(Texas Insider Report) — In the first six months of the 2023-2024 Election Cycle, Congressman Tony Gonzales has raised over $2 million dollars, and earned move than125 endorsements for his re-election efforts. Cong. Gonzales announced earlier this week that he has closed out the second quarter of 2023 with more than $1.5 million in the bank for his re-election campaign.
“There are two types of candidates – there are the ones who raise money, and then there are the ones who lose.
"Well, I’ve never lost a race,” said Congressman Gonzales.“This fundraising haul is just a sign of things to come. Our team will continue to grow the Republicans Party in places others wrote off long ago.”
Congressman Gonzales represents a district larger than most states, which includes two time zones and over 800 miles of the U.S.-Mexico Border – far more than any other Member of Congress.
Five Congressional Districts have a share of the border equal to 5% or more of the total landmass between the United States and Mexico. Of those five districts, Republicans have been consistently blown out by Democrats in four.
