Earlier this week, President-elect Donald J. Trump rightfully went off on The Wall Street Journal.
The President-elect posted in part: “The Wall Street Journal is becoming more and more obnoxious and unreadable. Today’s main headline is: “Trump’s DEA Pick Pulls Out In Latest Setback.” With all that’s happening in the World, this is their Number One story of the day. Besides, he didn’t pull out; I pulled him out because I did not like what he said to my pastors and other supporters. But, more importantly, what’s my “latest” setback??? I just won the Presidency of the United States! They haven’t written a good story about me in YEARS…”
Those who understand the media business realize that there are two Wall Street Journals. There is the more conservative/centrist editorial section—which has also wrongly criticized Trump in the past—and then there is the left-woke “news” side of the paper.
A section that for years has often abandoned ethical, honest, and unbiased journalism to repeatedly attack Trump, Republicans, conservatives, and people of faith. More than that, like ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe, The Chicago Sun-Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Miami Herald, and almost every other major “news” paper in the nation, The Wall Street Journal has seemingly morphed into a propaganda arm of the Democratic Party as it continually parrots the far-left and woke narratives of those who have been destroying our nation from within for decades.
The Journal, like so many media outlets, has chosen hate and ideology over the nation and the American people.
None of this should come as a surprise to anyone even remotely paying attention. As I have said in this space in the past – and been warning about for over a decade -- over the last five decades, the left and far-left have taken over majority control – often via outright discrimination against conservative and faith-based talent – of what I call the “five major megaphones” of our nation—those being: the media, academia, entertainment, science, and medicine.
And guess who understands that better than anyone? President-elect Donald J. Trump. And because he does, he is methodically, systematically, and permanently reshaping and redefining our media landscape for the better.
President-elect Trump is right to name names and produce receipts. The American people are desperate for facts and the truth as they try to survive the failing policies of the Democrats, the Biden-Harris White House, the lingering effects of the Obama White House, and the “Do Nothings” in Congress.
I truly do believe Trump will eventually go down in history as our most excellent President—one of the main reasons being his decades of real-world experience. Far too many of our presidents have been professional politicians with little or no understanding of the business world. Trump has proven that experience and talent matters.
Not only did he single-handedly create a global business empire, but he also created one of the most iconic brands in business history. Now, with those decades of massive success as his guide, he is training his eyes on the media landscape.
Buckle-up, Buttercup. President-elect Trump is in the process of rebranding an industry that has purposely failed to do its job for decades. As he did with so many pundits, editorial boards, and “Never-Trumpers,” President-elect Trump is about to make the corrupt legacy media totally irrelevant.
With his decisive win over Kamala Harris – and the cabal behind her pulling the levers – Trump just laid out a significant strategy for his “demolition and reconstruction” project. He orchestrated the most significant communications end-around in presidential campaign history. Not only did he ignore the far-left legacy media hating on him 24/7, but he also proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were totally irrelevant to him and his campaign. How? He appeared on hundreds of podcasts that produced views for him, which swamped – by the hundreds of millions – the combined viewership/readership of the corrupt legacy media.
By far, the most significant multiplier for Trump about this new strategy was Elon Musk’s X. Not only did Musk himself—with his 200-plus million followers -- post hundreds of items in support of Trump, the facts, and the truth, but he reposted those of other influential voices. As Musk has said: “You, the people, should decide the narrative, not three editors of legacy media.”
Make no mistake, the far-left “Censorship Machine” was winning big-time until Trump decided to run for reelection, and Musk bought Twitter and rebranded into the non-censoring X and then rightfully endorsed Trump.
The common denominator in all of this is Trump. He continually calls out the corrupt and the un-American. Right now, he is calling out the deceitful and dishonorable legacy media.
This holiday season, be thankful for Trump's gift. It is a gift that is literally saving our nation, our lives, and our freedoms one industry at a time.
