WASHINGTON, D.C. (Texas Insider Report) — President Trump has vowed not to sign any further legislation until his Save America Act is passed. On Truth Social he declared emphatically: "I, as President, will not sign other bills until this is passed." He insisted on a bill that requires a voter ID and proof of citizenship.
The "SAVE America Act" is exactly that – the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility, or the "SAVE America Act."
It would protect and preserve the right of American citizens to vote by requiring individuals provide proof of citizenship to register to vote, and to present a valid photo identification when voting.
We reprint our chart from several weeks ago showing the only people in America who oppose the Save Act are Democrat members of Congress. Trump has seen this and it's helped embolden him to take a firm stand.- 85% of Voters say only U.S. citizens should be allowed to vote,
Your vote is sacred, House Republicans have delivered on their end of the promise, and now the Senate must vote, and get this bill to President Trump's desk without further delay.
Democratic Senate leader Chuck Schumer calls the bill "Jim Crow 2.0" — the very same charge Joe Biden made against Georgia's 2021 election-security reforms, which were a big success and saw minority voter turnout increase.
Democrats know the bill is hugely popular, which is why they don't want a vote.
For the record, we are strongly against suspending the filibuster, but we love the idea of making these clowns go to the Senate floor and explain for hours on end why they won't stop voter fraud.
