"This is what happens when the entire Pentagon is working against you, and working against the monumental change you're trying to implement."
By Chase Jennings
Historically, when the Lefty Media would come after Republicans, the right would fold, disown our own and bow to their wishes – but President Trump has changed that. The legacy media is angry and looking for a scalp: We don’t care anymore. To be fair, many on the right have always held this belief, and couldn’t stand to see the McConnells, or Romneys of the world throw our own under the bus.

We know that Trump has no problem firing people, and I am certain that if Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth becomes a major distraction or is not accomplishing the mission, he will be let go. But for now, the White House continues to show the Democrats and media that when it comes to supporting our own, things have changed.
When it comes to Hegseth, the left has been after him since the moment he was nominated. At first, they attacked him as an alcoholic and serial womanizer. Now that he’s in the job, they’re looking for other ways to take him out. Both the New York Times and Politico are on the hunt. One cites improper use of a non-secure Signal chat group, the other gives front-page access to a recently fired former employee.
These tactics have worked against the right in the past, but no longer.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced this morning that President Trump is backing Secretary Hegseth:
Karoline Leavitt FORCEFULLY Affirms President Trump's support for Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
“The President stands strongly behind Secretary Hegseth, who is doing a phenomenal job leading the Pentagon. This is what happens when the entire Pentagon is working against you, and working against the monumental change you are trying to implement.
"Secretary Hegseth was nominated for this position because he is standing up for the war fighters, the men and women in uniform who are putting their lives on the line to protect our country and our homeland. Unfortunately, there have been people in that building, who don’t like the change the Secretary is trying to bring – so they are leaking and lying to the mainstream media.
"We’ve seen this game played before. The Secretary is doing a tremendous job, and the President stands strongly behind him.”

This is an incredible rebuttal from Press Secretary Leavitt.
One subtle point that she made shows a massive shift in how the historic GOP of the past did things differently. Leavitt stated,
“We’ve seen this game played before.”
She is exactly right – this is the political game that the left likes to play. They push fake news and fill the lefty echo chamber with the noise – but that noise is being drowned out these days by a strong president who understands how this game is played.
What a difference four years can make.

Even for Trump, learning from the past is helping him pursue his agenda with the right outlook. Democrats are going to wish they hadn’t somehow squeaked by in the 2020 election. But for Republicans, it’s hard not to be grateful for the learning curve as we see what is being accomplished.
The breakneck speed at which this administration is moving is light years ahead of where we would have been.
For that, we can thank the Democrats and President Trump.
For that, we can thank the Democrats and President Trump.
I know Secretary Hegseth is not perfect, but what Press Secretary Leavitt has stated is true: the entire military-industrial complex is at work against him.
For decades, this group moved in the shadows with unfettered power and access. Defense Secretary Hegseth is not the only one fighting this battle – the government is full of entitled bureaucrats who are working against the president.
As we move forward, you can expect more of these attacks.
- Editor's Note: Thanks to President Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's leadership, the warrior ethos is coming back to America's military.
