Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Harmony School of Excellence (HSE) is thrilled to announce that Karlie Rodriguez and Ari Sameer, both juniors, have been accepted into NASA’s prestigious High School Aerospace Scholars (HAS) program!
The Texas High School Aerospace Scholars program is an authentic STEM learning experience for Texas high school juniors, designed to engage students with NASA’s missions and inspire them to become the next generation of explorers. The year-long commitment begins in the fall with a five-month online learning experience focusing on space exploration, Earth science, technology, and aeronautics.
The highest-achieving students in the program will be invited to participate in Moonshot, a five-day virtual summer experience where they will collaborate with NASA scientists and engineers. From there, top-performing teams will receive an all-expenses-paid residential experience at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, providing an unparalleled opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of aerospace innovation.
